David completed an MBA in 2002 majoring in Strategic Marketing.
David's career has been based around manufacturing and wholesaling industries since gaining an electronics trade qualification early in his career with the Royal Australian Navy and working on industrial electronics repairs, maintenance and installations.
Expanding that background into technical sales, David has worked with major industry players such as Toledo Scale, Philips Components and HPM Industries in roles ranging from key account sales, product management and marketing management.
After a couple of years in his own strategic consulting practice, David joined US-based Fasco Motors, one of the world's largest manufacturers of electric motors and blowers. In the role of Marketing and Business Development Manager, Asia Pacific, he created strategies for the re-invigoration and strategic realignment of the business.
At Corporate Business Brokers, David is operating chiefly in the areas of manufacturing, wholesale and distribution where his technical knowledge and experience can be brought to bear.
His intimate knowledge of the challenges and opportunities in those industries allows David to recognise strategic synergies and new value streams.
David has contacts in many manufacturing and distribution areas, and a broad technical understanding enabling him to quickly grasp technical and engineering issues.
Outside business, David's active young family keeps him busy with interests in history, the outdoors, woodwork and DIY, building scale models and creative writing.
