| Greg joins CBB having recently sold his family business. He brings with him not only the experience of the technical aspects of a sale but also an understanding of the emotional issues that are inevitably involved in the process. Approximately fifteen years ago he also sold a part of the business and so has been through the process twice.
Greg's background is one of manufacturing and distribution of products in the materials handling, shelving and racking industry. His experience includes the early introduction of web site marketing for his company embracing the successful introduction of on line buying. The success of business was enhanced by his development of sophisticated quoting systems. The previously sold business was in the manufacture of fashion items, namely belt buckles for sale world wide to leather manufacturers. This business was the winner of a Commonwealth Export Award. Both businesses have involved Greg in extensive travel, marketing to a broad range of small business in various cultures across the globe.
In addition his company had a long association with the defence forces for the manufacture and supply of specialised military equipment. During his early years Greg served in the Army for two years as a commissioned officer within Ordnance Corp.
Greg's role in both businesses was that of Joint Managing Director and whilst his expertise has been in the financial, manufacturing and IT areas, he has also been close to all marketing decisions.
Greg has sat on external boards most notably the Small Business Development Corporation, a state government corporation during the Cain and Kennett governments. This corporation's charter was to assist small business in start ups and survival.
Greg brings forty years of business experience to the team.
