| Roger started his career in the banking industry. Having gained experience in many fields of banking as he worked his way through various levels of management, Roger moved overseas to further his career.
During this time of four years offshore Roger gained valuable experience in many industries, from the fledgling computer industry to working in international travel.
Roger returned to Australia in 1975 to take up a position with the financial planning sector of BHP, before embarking on a career in real estate.
Roger brought up his young family in a major centre of regional Australia where he owned and ran a number of successful leisure related businesses. It was during this period of 17 years that Roger gained his “hands on” experience of small and medium sized businesses. This gave him particular skills in business operations, which are ideally suited to business sales and acquisitions.
With his family now self sufficient, Roger and his wife returned to Melbourne in 2000 to capitalize on his business experience, and he has been working in the area of business sales and acquisitions, particularly supermarkets and other major retail businesses, since that time. Roger's experience in that field builds on Corporate Business Broker's market-leading position in the area of major retail business sales.
